This festival of dance workshops will be arranged for the fourth time at Cable Factory in Helsinki, at the beginning of June. The festival is open for dance professionals, dance students and dance teachers.
The Workshop Festival is an initiative by Zodiak. It has been organised in co-operation with Dance House Helsinki and Tanssille organisation since 2017. In the year 2020 new collaborators are DanceAbilty Finland ry and Yhteisötanssii association.
The Workshop Festival 2020 will be held between June 1 and June 7. The festival will include Sensing, Dancing, Performing - workshop by Jess Curtis (1.-5.6.), Edivaldo Ernesto: Depth Movement will return to the festival (1.-5.6.), Maija Kaunismaa will give a voice workshop for dance professionals (1.-3.6.) and Pauliina Hulkko a workshop titled as Dramaturgy in action: text, body, materiality (2.-4.6.). In addition there will be morning classes and mentoring clinics.
The full progremme will be realeased and the enrolment will start in January 2020.
