Choreographer Maija Hirvanen is known for her thought-provoking and deliciously quirky works.
Hirvanen’s new creation For those who have time is a meticulous composition of overly physical, crazy and reduced forms of performing. The work examines habits formed by the rhythm of contemporary life. Imperfection, ardor and beauty through sweat and emotions; these are the elements that the audience will encounter.
For those who have time is the second part of Hirvanen’s trilogy Operaatio Me (Operation We). The first part, Our Social Democratic Bodies (Zodiak 2011) is currently touring internationally. It can also be seen at this year’s Baltic Circle festival and the Nordic dance platform Ice Hot in Helsinki.
