NOIR? is a performance about blackness, identity and being in-between. The workshop, taught by choreographer Sonya Lindfors, will introduce you to the thematics of the piece from a different angle. The workshop will explore material from the piece and introduce you to the choregrapher's way of working and thinking by dancing, mental imagery, different exercises and discussion. The workshop will be fun and sweaty and will certainly give you something to think about!
The workshop is open for all and is suited for both beginners and more experienced dance and art enthusiasts. No previous experience is required.
Sonya Lindfors is a choreographer living in Helsinki who aims to shake society's constructions of power in her work. NOIR? is part of a series of work dealing with blackness. Performances of NOIR? on Zodiak Stage 8th and 9th June. Read more.

Availability is limited, so sign up in time! Welcome letters and invoices are sent to participants immediately after registration closes. Cancellations must be communicated no later than seven days before the course begins. With the exception of injuries and illnesses certified in writing by a doctor, cancellations made later than seven days before the course or workshop are subject to full course fee.
