Ervi Sirén's morning sessions are arranged following a workshop principle on six successive mornings in early September. The sessions focus on the work of the dancer and exercises and activities with a live musician.
Sirén has been an important figure in the development of Finnish contemporary dance since the 1970s. During her extensive career she has worked as in positions including the professor of the Department of Dance in the Theatre Academy for ten years, developing her own philosophy of dance focused on the body and the dancer and working on her own personal method of deep understanding of motion.

Cancellations must be communicated no later than seven days before the course begins. With the exception of injuries and illnesses certified in writing by a doctor, cancellations made later than seven days before the course or workshop are subject to full course fee.
