In this workshop Annika Tudeer will be sharing the basis for Oblivias work, a haven of playfulness and imagination, where body and voice practices serve as the fundament from where the imagination is let loose.
We will start with exercises that ground and release the body and the voice. Then we will move onto improvisation practices for creating material and sharing it. We will be working with the topic Facing the Unknown and become familiar with Do what you saw and other practices.
Oblivia has been working collectively for 20 years and has created an own unique physical performance style where presence and imagination flow. Oblivia is one of the most international performance companies in Finland, and a forerunner in the scene. At the moment we feel that performative strategies for an uncertain future will be very much needed.
