The course is a plunge into a stream of motion both personal and collective. Course activities consist of warm-ups linked to the theme of each session, searching for one's own motion patterns through different kinds of motion exercises, and group exercises. Play, curiosity and good music are used to explore comfortable ways of moving solo and in group. Where are the borders between you and the others? What kind of motion is there between us all?

Soili Huhtakallio graduated as a Master of Arts (Choreography) from the Helsinki Theatre Academy in 2016. She is interested in the bodily and cultural properties of thinking. In motion and dance, she is especially inspired by the Gaga Technique, ashtanga and hatha yoga, Authentic Movement and BMC. She listens to many kinds of music ranging from techno to Bach, and speaks very fast when carried away. As a choreographer, Huhtakallio has in the recent years worked in the focal points between the female body, dance and religion in different ways. She is the artistic director of the Energpriests collective, and strives to build dialogic spaces for thinking and sharing through her work – always in the spirit of feminism and constantly learning to listen to oneself in the process.

Enrolment is binding. Cancellations must be communicated on the last enrollment day by 6 pm the latest. Please check this course's last day of enrollment from above. With the exception of injuries and illnesses certified in writing by a doctor, cancellations made later than the deadline are subject to full course fee.
Zodiak's courses and workshops can also be paid using pre-paid Liikuntaseteli and Kulttuuriseteli vouchers (Smartum Oy) as well as Virikeseteli vouchers (Edenred Oy). You can pay with the vouchers in the beginning of the first class or you can bring the vouchers to Zodiak office (open weekdays 11 am to 4 pm). It is not possible to pay the course fee with cash.
