Call for Dancers to participate in performance at contemporary art gallery led by American Choreographer and Artist, Madeline Hollander

Zodiak, in collaboration with gallery Helsinki Contemporary, and the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York, are jointly calling for applications for dancers to participate in a gallery performance in conjunction with Future Delay, a group exhibition curated by American curator Amanda Schmitt

The call is open until May 10, 2019. 

Hollander seeks three to four dancers who are available for selected dates between June 2 through July 7, 2019, to participate in a performance commissioned specially for a contemporary art exhibition in Helsinki. Final dates and hours are to be determined during the interview process, however applicants should anticipate to be available between 12-20 days during the aforementioned dates, for performances between 1-4 hours (approximately 30-40 working hours). Applicants must be also available for weekend performances (Saturdays and Sundays).

This is a paid position funded by the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York through its MOBIUS Fellowship Program.

Dancers of all backgrounds are invited to apply by sending in a CV at least one link to a video reel or dancing samples. As Hollander is based between New York City and Los Angeles, auditions will be held remotely.
