The Finnish government announced on Monday, March 16, a 19-point list of emergency legislation, in order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Zodiak will also follow these guidelines and discontinue its performance and course activities at least until April 13th.
Below you will find more detailed information about how this affects our courses and performances.
Course programme
All Zodiak courses are on a break until April 13. Some courses will have to be canceled altogether, but we are currently exploring the possibility of transferring some courses to new dates. We are also looking at different web based solutions for some courses.
We will inform course participants about the status of each course. Putting together this whole puzzle will take some time, so it may take a few days for the messages to arrive.
Performances
The performances that will be cancelled at this point are Mikko Makkonen's Actions x Figures on 19.3.–1.4. at Zodiak Stage and the double-bill The Match & News at Stoa on 1.–2.4.. As tickets for both performances are sold through two different sales systems, there are two sets of instructions for returning tickets.
Actions x Figures, returning tickets to Tiketti
We are currently exploring the possibility of organizing substitute performances for Actions x Figures. Zodiak will announce the possible new show dates as soon as possible. If replacement shows can be arranged, tickets purchased now will be valid for the new dates. We will be informing separately about how to reserve seats.
Purchased tickets can also be exchanged for a Zodiak gift card of the same value, which can be used as a payment at Tiketti. For the gift card you will need to send the following information to the Tiketti service address (hei@tiketti.fi): the serial number of the purchased ticket, your name and your email address. Tiketti cancels your ticket and sends the gift card to your email.
Ticket’s bought with Zodiak’s serial ticket are cancelled automatically, and one credit is added back to the serial ticket. Our serial tickets for spring 2020 are now valid also during the autumn season 2020.
Tickets already purchased can also be returned. Tiketti refunds tickets to the general public, but not Tiketti's service fees and shipping charges. Tiketti has opened a form on their website that makes it easy to return tickets for canceled events.

The form can be used to return tickets for all canceled and moved events. You will receive a refund for your tickets directly to your bank account within 5 business days of sending the form. Tickets for canceled events due to the corona epidemic can be returned until August 31, 2020.
