Loitsu (The Spell) is a dance performance set in North-Eastern Helsinki’s urban nature. It is part of the Valokeilassa koillinen venture. Two open rehearsals of the upcoming work will take place at The Wall.
The theme of Loitsu is the constructive effect that comes through all human activity. Every act conjures something into the world. The moving body shakes everything around it.
Loitsu is group-based and created through workshops and independent teamwork. Facilitating the process is Zodiak's project artist, dance artist Anna Koskela.
Welcome to follow the group’s open rehearsals to the Wall. The premiere of the piece is on July 16 at Tuomarinkylä manor house.
