Choreographer Escarleth Pozo, together with their working group, will be in residency at Zodiak on the first week of September. The residency period ends in an open demo on Saturday, Sep 7.

Swedish choreographer Escarleth Pozo and their team will be in residency at Zodiak's C4 Studio during the first week of September.

The residency is part of the Nordic Residency Exchange Programme (NREP). The group is working on their new work YIELDING, which will premiere in Stockholm in January 2025.

YIELDING is a dance work that touches upon the fragility of humanness. It asks questions such as ‘what does it take to remain human?’ The performance makes the audience aware of their own permeability and corporeality. Their presence matter. You feel the effect of the work with your body and senses, still, there is more at play than what meets the eye. YIELDING invites us to reconsider our relationship with others, in their fragility and vulnerability.

YIELDING is a contemporary dance performance for liminal spaces, theatres and galleries/museums. It is a trio consisting of two dancers and one electronic musician/performer that plays live and interacts with the performance space and situations that occur.
