This course celebrates the joy of dance, combining playful exploration with artistic expression. You are encouraged to draw inspiration from memories or experiences that arise during the course and incorporate them into your work, adding a personal and autobiographical touch.

In this course, we dive into a creative exploration of the possibilities of our bodies and movement. Using a multisensory approach, we practise improvisation tasks inspired by movement, music and text.

The dance artist Maria Nurmela will guide you through different exercises designed to help us discover the potential of our bodies, their movement qualities, and our ability to observe and respond. Through these sessions, you will build body awareness, strength and coordination.

You are encouraged to draw inspiration from memories or experiences that arise during the course and incorporate them into your work, adding a personal and autobiographical touch. Together, we will create small shared choreographic variations and perhaps even miniature works shaped by our shared experiences.
