Zodiak is organises one annual festival. Side Step Festival that showcases international contemporary dance is arranged in February. Zodiak also arranges a number of smaller events annually, both independently and as part of various collaboration projects.

Zodiak’s international Side Step Festival has been arranged since 1996. The festival takes place during the first week of February and showcases the latest trends and artists in contemporary dance. Most of the artists and performances are previously unseen in Finland. Festival venues are Zodiak Stage adn the two stages of Dance House Helsinki, along with other spaces located at the Cable Factory.

Zodiak has also been one of the organisers of the #StopHatredNow event week since its beginning. #SHN is an intercultural, anti-racist event platform that strives to create discourse and offers tools to create a more inclusive, diverse and feminist art field. Initiated by choreographer Sonya Lindfors and first arranged in 2016, the event is an annual collaboration between various cultural organisations.

In addition to annual events, Zodiak also arranges seminars and lectures as part of its project work.
